Our baby boy decided to enter the world on May 15th 2011...I went into labor on the 14th, was admitted to hospital around 11pm. We are slowly but surely heading back to South Africa....what a crazy mess to sort out all our stuff and pack up! Stephan needs to work back three years for the company he worked for before we came. Glacier was an absolute highlight for us!! The spectacular scenery with mountains, glaciers and waterfalls was absolutely wonderful to us. We also enjoyed seeing mountain goats, bighorn sheep and more grizzlies...(Elsa only enjoyed seeing the grizzlies from afar).

Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks

The next stop on our 3500 mile road trip was the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Elsa tried elk horn (quite heavy) and we went to see acidic pools. Other highlights were Old Faithful geyser, a huge group of bison, a bison carcass that bears and wolves were feeding on, and camping in the wilderness (I am not sure it would really qualify as wilderness, but it felt "wild" to me :)).

Die SKUGERS was hier!!! Dit was AMAZING..."the XING of our paths".
