We joined our good friends Keith and Becky as we said goodbye Ling and Darren by going away on a final weekend away (they are moving to New Orleans where Ling will start a clerkship for a judge). Keith organized the nice cottage of one of his colleagues for the weekend. It was a lovely time of sunny weather, hiking in nearby Yosemite park, hanging out, and eating. Stephan even braved a rushing stream (only until the water reached over knee height) when we took the wrong path to Mirror Lake. It was bitter sweet as we say said goodbye to the Lews, and realize that our time of farewells is also drawing near.
