My little baby is no longer a little babe I think....he is an active babbling running climbing and joyful little toddler!! How I enjoy him?? Such an amazing miracle that God granted us such a privilege to have him in our house....
His favorite words are currently "Pappa (Daddy), ta-ta (bye-bye), mes (knife), bus (bus) and padda (frog)"
Daddy is his absolute favorite person in the whole wide world. Every morning is a tearful affair when Daddy has to go to work again.
He loves cookies (which is called te-te for some reason I am not aware of) and absolutely hated any "jellyish wet substance" like yogurt custard, jelly and ketchup. It was simply told of as being "wet" and I surely cannot expect of him to have to taste it. O and ice-cream is too cold to taste Mommy! Mommy implemented a "desentitisation strategy" by putting a blob of custard on the highchair everyday and ignoring his complaints. Eventually he stopped whining about the terrible blob sitting there and started to play a tiny bit with one finger. After a week long strategy of Mommy starting to play with it and Daddy enjoying to dip his finger and tasting it, we have a little guy who dips everything in ketchup now!! VICTORY!!
Other news is that we rented a jungle gym for mr climbing monkey....he ADORES it!! And we decided to put buying a puppy off for a while longer. Mommy simply cannot house train a puppy now and watch mr lively and carry a little brother...
Little brother grows well! He weighs almost a kilogram and is due in 13 weeks....Mommy feels quite uncomfortable a times now.
Daddy has to work hard currently, he plans to travel to Nigeria (sad face) in November and Sierra Leone again in December. Luckily a baby moon is planned for end of November. Mommy still needs to prepare her heart to leave babe for a night. This will be a first.
Our house is also coming along nicely. Baby's room is green and will be decorated with trucks. Theo's room has been painted blue and all the pictures will probably be put up in the next week or so. And our window frames are almost finished....burglar bars are up and the rain is taking care of the garden, so all's well at the Joostes!!
