Was jy al ‘n entjie op in Afrika? Ek bedoel nie na ‘n fancy lodge of ‘n catered glamping ondervinding nie. Ek bedoel Afrika. ‘n Klein dorpie in die middel van nêrens. Tussen die mense en die donkies en die Afrikana honde. Was jy al dáár? Afrika. Ons wil 9:00 op die grenspos wees. Karpapiere en paspoorte is reg. Honde is ingecheck by die honde hotel. Wa is gelaai. Die watertenk is vol. Ons is reg. Is ons? Die afwagting hang in die kar. Ek wonder in retrospek wat die kinders se verwagting was. Mens kan net raai hoe die prentjie gelyk het in hulle koppe vooraf. Hulle het darem al Voetspore gekyk. Ons ontdek ‘n Vida op Zeerust. Saam met die toilette waar mens R2 moet betaal om in te gaan. Ek is opgewonde oor my koffie! Ons ontmoet die res van die toergroep. Die kinders hardloop heen en weer en praat van musiek op fone en spelers. Reghardt se gebreekte arm hang in ‘n sling. Die seuns skop-skop na klippe. Almal glimlag. Teen 9:00 is ons op die grens. Dis ‘n grootskaalse foto...

Fun!

So many awesome people gave us used toys since their kids outgrew it....Theodore LOVES it!

Reghardt is 1!!

Our courageous little boy is one year old! Time flew...I almost cannot believe that his first year has passed. What an amazing blessing he is to me and us as a family. Theo and Reghardt are sometimes having so much fun together now that I cannot help but thank God for these two siblings. may they have many more years of fun, laughter, friendship and fellowship together. I think Reghardt made us feel like a family versus a couple with a child. Theodore sometimes still need to check whether his place was taken by his little brother but apart from that he loves his little mate...I enjoy this little baby curly head with a big smile tremendously...he has brought me so so much joy in the past year!! We do hope that the reflux will soon be forgotten this coming year and that he may grow strong in our love, God's love and protection. We love you so much my dear little sweetheart!
